This addition to an existing house perches above a steep drop-off, providing panoramic views of the surrounding woods. Designed as an extension of the original home’s meandering plan, the new wing contains a family room and a large roof deck. By moving the structure to the exterior of the building, the interior becomes an unobstructed space; a quality that is emphasized by the unbroken line of glass panels that wrap around the addition’s facade.
