The setting for this one room addition is a small enclave of similarly scaled and detailed Tudor cottages. These cottages are typically made of stone and masonry and are relatively dark and isolated from their backyards. Filling houses such as these with light transforms their character completely. This is what these owners desired. The program calls for an all glass sunroom built upon an existing, South facing wooden deck. The wooden framework allows the glass to gracefully blend with the rustic cottage aesthetic.
